Clutch Components & Fluids:
We use only LUK brand clutches, flywheels, and concentric slave cylinders, matching original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards.

Gearboxes are supplied with the official OE Quality recommended gear oil if purchased, ensuring peak performance from day one.

All fully Reconditioned Gearboxes are sold on an exchange basis. This means we require your old unit to be returned. Once we receive it, we will refund your £300 exchange surcharge.

Return delivery is at your own cost however, we can arrange the collection for £90, which will be deducted from your surcharge refund.

Please Note: All surcharge exchange gearboxes are subject to inspection upon return to assess their condition.

All returned units must be repairable. This means there must be no holes, cracked or damaged casings, or damage that renders the unit beyond economical repair, such as internal components being completely smashed or destroyed.

If a returned gearbox is deemed to be beyond economical repair, only a partial surcharge refund may be issued, or in some cases no refund can be be offered.

FAQs

No oil is supplied as standard — the gearbox ships dry. You can add the correct-specification Elf Tranself NFX 75W gear oil as an option, or fill with correct-spec fresh oil before fitting. A matched LuK clutch, concentric slave cylinder and flywheel kit is also available, which we recommend renewing while the box is out of the van.
The £300 exchange surcharge is refunded in full once your old unit is returned and passes inspection. Return carriage is at your own cost, or we can arrange collection for £90, deducted from the refund. The returned core must be repairable, with no holes, cracks, damaged casings or smashed internals; if it is beyond economical repair, only a partial surcharge refund, or in some cases none, can be offered.
No. Units are supplied on an exchange basis and many are already built and on the shelf, so you receive a reconditioned gearbox first and return your old core afterwards. You don't wait for your own unit to be rebuilt. Availability can change with stock levels, so it's always worth confirming before placing your order.
Yes. The PF6 6-speed in the Vauxhall Vivaro Mk3 (1.6 diesel) is shared with the Renault Trafic Mk3, Nissan NV300 and Fiat Talento, all of which we recondition. Exact fitment can vary by build date, so please send your registration or the casing code and we'll confirm the match before you order. If you don't see your vehicle listed, please get in touch.
