At RVN Gearboxes Ltd, we aim to ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality gearbox repairs, diagnostics, and reconditioned gearboxes. This policy explains our procedures for returns, refunds, and cancellations.
1. Return Window & Conditions
We accept returns for reconditioned gearboxes purchased online under the following conditions:

Return Period: Customers have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

Condition: The gearbox must be unused, not installed, and in its original condition.

Preparation: All units must be packed securely and fully drained of oil prior to return shipping.

Exclusions: Once a gearbox has been installed, it is no longer eligible for a refund. In these cases, our Warranty Terms & Conditions apply.
2. Return Process & Shipping

Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked and insured courier service.

3. Fees & Refunds

Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 25% applies to all returns to cover technical inspection, testing, and preparation costs.

Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 7 days of the item being inspected.

Non-Refundable Costs: Shipping fees, diagnostic charges, third-party labour, installation/removal costs, and consumables (such as oil) are non-refundable.
4. Damaged or Faulty Items

Transit Damage: If an item arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the packaging and the unit.

Faulty Goods: If a gearbox is found to be faulty within the warranty period, we will repair or replace the components. Refunds are only issued for warranty claims if repair or replacement is proven impossible.
5. Service Cancellations
For gearbox repairs and reconditioning services, work is non-refundable once the process has begun. Cancellations made before work begins may be subject to a partial fee to cover administrative and diagnostic costs.
