  2. Collection or drop-off. We arrange courier collection for £90, or you can drop the gearbox off at our Darwen workshop free of charge.
  3. Strip-down and diagnosis. The gearbox is fully dismantled and every component inspected so the exact fault is identified.
  4. Clear written quotation. You receive a fixed price for the repair before any work begins — no surprises.
  5. Repair, rebuild and test. Once approved, we carry out the repair, rebuild the unit and test it before it leaves the workshop.

£90 Collection Fee

The £90 charge covers collection of the gearbox only.

Once it reaches us, the gearbox undergoes a full strip-down and diagnostic inspection, and a quotation is then provided based on the fault identified.

You're welcome to drop off and collect your gearbox free of charge from our premises in Darwen, Lancashire.

If You Decide Not to Proceed

If you choose not to go ahead after receiving the quotation and want the gearbox returned, a £90 re-delivery fee applies, plus labour charges for the strip-down and inspection already carried out.

Important: Drain the Oil Before Sending

Please make sure the gearbox is completely drained of oil before it is collected or posted.

Couriers apply a £200 surcharge for oil spillage, and RVN Gearboxes Ltd cannot be held responsible for any courier penalties caused by oil leakage.
