It's a trusted garage within our approved network that can install the reconditioned gearbox supplied by RVN Gearboxes Ltd. This allows you to have the gearbox fitted locally without the need to travel to our workshop in Darwen, Lancashire.
Do I have to use RVN to fit my gearbox?
No. You can fit it yourself, use your own garage, or use one of our approved fitment centres — whichever is most convenient.
Is fitting covered by the warranty?
Your reconditioned gearbox is supplied with our unlimited-mileage warranty. Please note that the warranty covers the gearbox only and does not cover labour charges, fitting costs, recovery charges, loss of earnings, vehicle downtime or any additional costs incurred.
How do I find a fitment centre near me?
Visit our website to view our approved fitment centre network and choose a centre near you from the list provided. Please note that we are always expanding our approved fitment centre network. Every centre is carefully hand-selected by RVN Gearboxes Ltd through years of trust, experience and working relationships. Garages cannot simply apply to become an approved centre — we only approach businesses that we feel meet our standards and fit our approved network.
Do you fit gearboxes at your own workshop too?
We offer gearbox fitting at our Darwen, Lancashire workshop, as well as through our approved national fitment centre network. Our approved centres are carefully selected by RVN Gearboxes Ltd to provide a professional installation service for our reconditioned gearboxes.
How does the process work if I use a fitment centre?
We recondition your gearbox and arrange delivery to your chosen approved fitment centre. We work with you and the centre to select a date and time that suits you, making the whole process as simple and convenient as possible. The fitment centre will then complete the installation, with the process coordinated by us from start to finish where required.
Can my usual garage become an approved fitter?
No. Our approved fitment centres are carefully selected by RVN Gearboxes Ltd based on experience, standards and trusted working relationships. Garages cannot apply to become an approved centre — we only approach businesses that we feel are the right fit for our network.
Will using a fitment centre cost more?
Fitting is a separate labour charge set by the approved fitment centre. Please note that our fitment centres are independent businesses and are not owned or operated by RVN Gearboxes Ltd. The only fitment facility currently owned and operated by us is our HQ workshop in Darwen, Lancashire. As prices are set by each independent centre, fitting costs can vary between locations. We can help you arrange a clear supply and fit price before you commit.
