Gearbox Reconditioning Assessment & Quotation
Once your gearbox has been received, stripped, and fully assessed, we will provide a clear quotation to carry out the full reconditioning service.

What to Expect – Our Process & Policy
We operate a strict No Fix, No Fee policy. If we are unable to recondition your gearbox, you will not be charged for the reconditioning work itself.
Collection & Assessment Fee
The £90 fee covers the collection of the gearbox only.
Once collected, the gearbox will undergo a full strip-down and diagnostic inspection. A quotation will then be provided to repair or fully recondition the gearbox, depending on the service selected.
Drop-Off Option
You are welcome to drop off and collect your gearbox free of charge from our premises in Darwen, Lancashire.
If You Do Not Proceed
If you decide not to go ahead after receiving the quotation and require the gearbox to be returned, a £90 re-delivery fee will apply.
Important – Oil Must Be Drained
Please ensure the gearbox is completely drained of oil before sending.
Couriers apply a £200 surcharge for oil spillage. RVN Gearboxes Ltd cannot be held responsible for any courier penalties resulting from oil leakage.
