Once the gearbox has been stripped and assessed, we will provide you with a quote to carry out the Reconditioning service.

What to Expect – Our Process & Policy

We operate a strict No Fix, No Fee policy. If we are unable to recondition your gearbox, you won’t be charged for the repair itself. However, please note the following:

PLEASE NOTE THE COST PAID OF £90 COVERS THE COLLECTION OF THE GEARBOX ONLY ONCE COLLECTED WE WILL THEN QUOTE TO REPAIR OR RECONDITION THE GEARBOX DEPENDING ON THE PRODUCT YOU HAVE SELECTED

You’re also welcome to drop off and collect your gearbox free of charge from our Darwen, Lancashire premises.

We’ll carry out a full strip-down and diagnostic inspection once the unit is received.

After assessment, a detailed quote will be provided for the reconditioning work.

If you decide not to go ahead, and require the gearbox to be returned, a £90 re-delivery fee will apply.

Important: Please ensure the gearbox is completely drained of oil before sending. Couriers charge a £200 fee for any oil spillage, and we cannot be held responsible for this.
